  • Navigating teleconference proceedings in the NSW IRC, and delivering outcomes; and
  • The rise of the NSW Industrial Relations inspectorate, be prepared.

We are fortunate to have two seasoned IR practitioners join us in this webinar, providing both an employer and employee perspective. If you are about to embark on a bargaining process, have matters before the NSW IRC or want to tighten your IR compliance, you don’t want to miss this webinar.

Speakers

Ayshe Lewis

Ayshe has worked in the NSW State IR system for over 35 years, starting out at the NSW PSA in 1985 and joining the HSU in 2012. In her roles as Principal Industrial Officer (PSA) and Manager, Industrial Services (HSU), she has been involved in many major Award cases for public sector workers including two landmark cases conducted under the current NSW Govt Wages Policy.  Having had the privilege of spending her working career advocating for workers,  she has recently taken on a new challenge as Human Resources Manager at the HSU.

Ross Nassif

For just under two decades Ross has provided advice and representation to members of Local Government NSW on a broad range of industrial and employment law issues.  In terms of representation, Ross has had experience in advocating matters before the Industrial Relations Commission of New South Wales, the Fair Work Commission and the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

During periods of change and transition, Ross has supported the industry with calm, informed and pragmatic guidance.  This was evident with the introduction of the WorkChoices reforms in 2005, the negotiation of five industry awards, council amalgamations in 2016 and more recently the industry’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
