Membership is open to both individuals and organisations. Discounted rates apply for full time students.

NOTES:

Membership runs for a financial year (1st July – 30th June). However, Ordinary members who join mid-year, can pay half price for any membership taken out from January through to June in any year.

The application process is not complete until we have received full payment of your fees.

Membership levels:

Individual Membership

Individual membership entitles you to discounted rates for all the Society's activities. It also includes a subscription to the Journal of Industrial Relations (JIR) which is produced 5 times per financial year, and other publications produced from time to time.

Corporate membership

Corporate membership options are as follow:

• Each corporate member is to nominate how many individual employees they wish to be covered by their membership (which must be at least three);
• Corporate membership cost the equivalent of an annual individual membership multiplied by the number of employees nominated with a 30% discount applied;
• Corporate members need to name those employees who are covered by their membership together with appropriate contact details;
• The name of employees covered by corporate membership can be changed during the course of a year, should a nominated employee leave the organisation or change role. (as long as appropriate contact details are provided);
• Named employees may access all the benefits of membership with the exception that only one receives a hard copy of the JIR (the organisation must nominate who is to receive this copy) with other named employees only to receive an electronic copy.

Student Membership If you are a full time student and providing you supply documentation which demonstrates your status membership is complimentary.
