The Hon. Jonathan Marc Hamberger PSM

Jonathan Hamberger was a Senior Deputy President of the Fair Work Commission (and its predecessors) from 2004 until 2019.

Jonathan is currently an Honorary Professor with the Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong and an Honorary Associate with the Faculty of Business at the University of Sydney.

Prior to his appointment to the Commission, Jonathan spent over 20 years working as a policy adviser to Federal and State governments and as a senior public sector manager.

He has an MA from Oxford University in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

He has a PhD from Macquarie University for his research into workplace dispute resolution in Australia.
